Biography:
Tony did his early caving around Bloomington, Indiana from 1962 to 1974. He was involved in the discovery, exploration and mapping of 20+ miles of Blue Spring Caverns near Bedford, Indiana. Tony got involved in vertical pit caving which took him to deep caves in Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Alabama, West Virginia and trips to Mexico to explore some of the deepest pits known that that time. After moving to Alaska in 1974, he became a carpenter and focused on the skill areas of concrete forming and structures, post and be a nd diving crew foreman, doing underwater work for two years. During this time he did commercial work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and also became a log home builder. He returned to Indiana in 2000 where he continues to do construction work.
The American Cave Conservation Association (ACCA) is a National 501 (c) 3 Nonprofit Organization.
