About Us
The American Cave Conservation Association (ACCA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection of caves, karstlands and groundwater. Our Federal Tax ID is 54-1173405. Memberships and donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
This privacy policy applies to all information received by ACCA, both online and offline and includes our websites, caveconservation.com; hiddenrivercave.com, and horsecavereservations.com, as well as social media sites, and electronic, written and oral communications.
We do not sell or trade donor names or personal information.
From time to time, ACCA may share limited contact information with trusted partner organizations for purposes that directly align with our conservation and education mission, such as promotion of the National Cave and Karst Management Symposium or other mission-related initiatives.
Any such sharing is carefully considered and limited to organizations whose work supports cave conservation, education, or stewardship. We do not authorize the use of our mailing lists for unrelated commercial marketing purposes.

ACCA may collect personal information provided including name(s), mailing addresses, telephone number(s), email addresses, and information necessary to process memberships, donations, event registrations, or purchases.
Hidden River Cave Reservations
Our online reservations are handled through PeekPro Secure Booking Software. Information provided when making a reservation is processed through PeekPro and used as necessary to manage and fulfill your reservation.
Website Contact Forms
Our website contact forms collect names, email addresses and messages. This information is provided by the website user and is utilized to respond to inquiries.
Memberships And Donations
When you make a donation or purchase a membership through our website, you are redirected to a secure third-party payment processor. ACCA does not directly collect, process, or store credit card or bank account information on our website.
Secure payment processing for memberships, donations, and recurring pledges is handled through SafeSaveā¢. Account information for recurring pledges or monthly giving is encrypted and stored securely by SafeSave⢠for automatic processing of future payments.
By submitting payment information through the secure processor, you authorize the processor to charge the account provided for the amount specified in the transaction.
ACCA receives and maintains donor information such as name(s), mailing address(es), email address(es), phone number(s), and transaction details necessary to maintain donor records and provide receipts.
You may notify us at any time if you wish to discontinue a recurring pledge by emailing: membership@caveconservation.com
Online Shop Purchases
When you purchase items from our online shop, secure payment processing is handled by PayPal. ACCA does not directly collect or store credit card or bank account information for shop transactions.
In order to fulfill and ship your order, we collect and use purchaser name(s), mailing address(es), email address(es), and phone number(s). This information is used solely for order processing, shipping, and customer service related to your purchase.
We do not sell, trade, or distribute customer information to third parties for marketing purposes.
How ACCA Uses Personal Information Collected Online And Offline
We use personal information only for the purpose for which it is submitted, such as to reply to messages, handle member and donor correspondence, and to alert you to cave conservation news, action items and special events or programs.
