Biography:

Buddy is originally from Horse Cave. He is the CEO of the Innovation Campus at Western Kentucky University, President of the WKU Research Foundation, Programs Director at the Central Region Ecosystem for Arts Technology and Entrepreneurship (CREATE) and President of WKU Launch Pad Inc and Farm to Campus Inc. In 2002, Buddy led Western Kentucky University’s efforts to convert the 285,000 sq. ft. “old Bowling Green Mall” into a thriving Center for Research and Development, now called the WKU Innovation Campus HQ. Buddy is also an inventor with 12 patents. He has technical expertise in designing and building embedded computer systems (IOT) and SAAS systems. In the ‘90s, Buddy co-founded a tech company called Cybersensor, Inc. As President and CTO, he was responsible for designing and building state-of-the-art remotely controllable control systems linked to low earth orbiting satellite and internet technologies.
